Would like to report a new fake chinese hardware for TinySA
I don't like FAKE hardware clones.? The original developers/artists/etc deserve that (as one myself).
Is this the right place to report a new clone I found?
Thanks.

Erik,
Maybe you want to lower the tolerance for this self test item.

Re: Selftest fail

Hugen,
your comment is interesting for me, because the test fail #8 did not occur in every test run. Sometimes there are 4 or 5 good runs , but the next fails. Sometimes there a 3 or 4 bad runs that

Re: Selftest fail

Sorry, it really isn't a clone. This is due to a deviation in the IF filter, and although we have rechecked it several times during the production process, there are still some with smaller deviations

You did not buy from an authorized vendor so you might have received a clone.

Re: Selftest fail

This does not look good and can not be repaired by different FW or other user action

Re: Spur at 4.275 GHz on ZS-407
I have a similar prob although not quite as bad, the rear of my 407 is the
same as Andrew's except the serial # as expected. Mine also appears to be a
little later as the serial # is greater. I've

Let me make a joke:?The next person that complains about spurs in Ultra mode with spur reduction forced off gets banned from this group :-)

Re: Spur at 4.275 GHz on ZS-407
Correction on my previous mail frequency is 4.2766 GHz (typo). On the
plot with spur removal off Markers 4 & 7 appear to be ambient ingress
not spurs.

Erik, I too have the 4.766GHz spur as described by Andrew. as
purchased from R&L a couple months ago. The attached plot #1 is with a

OK, let me try to improve the situation at 4.3 GHz
Just to be sure, there is nothing wrong with the HW.

Re: Spur at 4.275 GHz on ZS-407
No, it remains the same. And it is present even when the RF input is short-circuited with the VNA calibration "S" cap.
Not exactly at those frequencies (or that is just a measurement error), but some

Re: Spur at 4.275 GHz on ZS-407
Can you check if you see similar spurs at 1069 MHz, 2138 MHz and 4276 MHz?
I assumed these where solved but if you still see them I have to do some more work.

Do the spurs increase in level when you attach the telescopic antenna?
