Re: Quick general questions on persisting the calibration data
Yes
You should never "RESET" a calibration as the current implementation of RESET is undefined and not updated for some time. I will remove that menu item

Quick general questions on persisting the calibration data
On a Z405 SW ver. 1.4-156 will saving the config (Menu: Storage|Save Config) also save all calibration data including the tables and individual level corrections? At the same token, when "resetting"

Re: Tiny ULTRA. Scan made with in bundle antenna. is it a normal spectrum?
Perhaps you could terminate the input with 50 ohm and see what it scans.
It should be a near flat line.
And don't forget hdmi causes a lot of signals, as does other computer

Did you add a second trace with the "calc" option "max hold"?
Cheers,

Re: wanting to update firmware.......
Mark,
If you are worried about the update, you can always save the FW that brings yours and reload it again if in the new version it does not work.

Re: SA Ultra in Listen mode on startup
Keep the jog button pressed to the side during switch on
If that solves the problem do a level calibration

Re: Grounding a TEM Cell
Dave,
The original poster stated that he is using a TEKBOX TBTC2 TEM cell which is not an enclosed TEM cell.? Our lab referred to that type of TEM cell construction as a Triplate or Strip Line

Re: ZS-407 Spurious Signals
Hi Otto, Dave and Eric
I took a quick look at my new ZS-407 last night after reading your posts. I too have the the spur described with a terminated input. 533.775 MHz at -70dbm. I didn’t drill down

Re: Grounding a TEM Cell
The TEM cell should be a completely closed Faraday volume. If it maintains
its "new" integrity, there should be nothing leaking into the volume.
I've used a TEM cell some 500-feet from a major cell

Copy that and thank you so much.
My test are to be sure the system is working correctly since I'm thinking about using it with a TEM Cell for EMC precompliance.
Unfortunately I'm getting a strange

WiFi is often hopping frequency and you need to disable spur reduction to better see it.
But with disabled spur reduction you will also see all kind of mirrors and spurs when doing such a wide
