Re: What to do when you think you bought a tinySA clone.
The image of the PCB is too small to judge.
From where did you buy? -- For more info on the tinySA go to https://tinysa.org/wiki/ |

Re: What to do when you think you bought a tinySA clone.
Hi Eric, First I want to thank you for the opportunity you gave us to own and use this tiny wonder. A few days ago I received my TinySa that I bought from aliexpress. Can you please confirm from the enclosing photos, that I have a genuine, or a clone and illegal copy of tinySA ? Soon I will have to confirm the delivery if I accept it as genuine, or if it¡¯s a clone ?I will open a dispute and request to refund me. I¡¯m counting on your judgment and your advices. Thanks for your time. ? Panagiotis. |

Re: New TinySA user
?IoT devices connect and send data but I believe they first need to send a connect signal although the network is always ¡°listening¡±. For OTA LoRaWAN indeed needs that. But OTA isn't always possible for example for a GPS tracker (you don't know if you are in range of a LoRaWAN Gateway and just want to send your package through ABP) For years TheThingsNetwork used to accept ABP (pre registered nodes and then the node had only to transmit his data with out listening) with packet counter reset allowed (for example when using trackers or temporary node setups). But last year?they moved to V3 of there software enforcing the full LoRaWAN protocol stack support and the network started to negotiate with the nodes about SF etc. Nodes who for years have been working without a problem could drop there packages to the networked, could once they rebooted and started there packet counter at 0 again, for example due to a software reset or battery swap, where never seen again.?? When using the full stack even a ABP node needs to register to the network, negotiate SF etc.?
That isn't a standard procedure in LoRaWAN but I believe the Helium network does that go map there coverage.? Are you using the Helium network ?? 73 Lex PH2LB? |
