TinySA driver???
Hello to all, I am trying to load the updated firmware to the tinySA, but when I go to put th3 file in the DFU File Manager, set the tinySA to DFU mode,I cannot see the tinySA in the Available DFU Devices, and it will not install. I am wondering if I need to install a Driver for this tinySA,or what to do,i am running Windows 10. Any help or let me know what I need to do will be Appreciated. I want to thank al who may help me out. Have a great day,,also, this little thing is totally amazing, as I set my Signal Generator to the side, and use this SA when I am aligning CB radios, it works pretty well, need to get a power pack for this for when I go to work on the antenna this spring,as the batteries do hold up pretty well, as it is to hold for about 2 hours. Thanks again,,Mark,,

Look at eBay item 121096249091. SLLB310400 ALPS. I bought two when I needed one.

Re: What to do when a selftest fails
One other thing.? The new (problem) unit seems "dirty" when the low and high inputs are connected together (no cal signal turned on).? My original has just two little spurs while this one has a bunch.? Sorry for the barrage of posts.? Hope the info will help to get to the bottom of the issue.

Re: What to do when a selftest fails
Please disregard the version screen that somehow got attached to my posting.? I had something odd going on with upgrades and both units were showing version V1.1-59 even though I was using V1.1-77 for the upgrade.? I redownloaded the file and made sure to use that one and both my units are now at V1.1-77 as indicated by the version screen.? Thanks.

Replacement Jog Switch Info?
Hi,
I received a second tinySA today.? Now I know why I have been having so much trouble navigating menus on the first unit, the spring (or something) is messed up in the jog switch.? The new unit I just received fails two self-tests but the jog switch is nice and firm and positive in its action when pressed or jogged.? I guess I got used to the switch going bad on my first unit.? Anyway, could a manufacturer part number, link or such information be provided so I can get a replacement for this switch? Thanks and 73, Robert, WA2T |
Re: What to do when a selftest fails
Hi,
I just received a second tinySA and it is failing two self-tests.? It appears to be an authentic unit. I upgraded to V1.1-77 on both of my units. I performed the Level Calibration and then executed Self Test.? Here are the errors: Test 5 Above Critical Test 7 Stopband Fail Otherwise, ST is okay. Did attenuator test and that seems okay. Thank you, Robert, WA2T |

Open the Comms window (small button with USB connection symbol)
Connect tinySA and switch to high mode using tinySA-App You should see in the log 00.515 tx: mode high input
00.549 rx: mode high input
and no error messages-- ------------------------------------------

Here's the picture of test 9 fail with rev 77This is not a problem, The fail threshold is -75dBm and you measure -74.6dBm. I guess I may have made the test just a bit too tight. ? -- ------------------------------------------

? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? New replacement Tinysa received today. Passed all self test before and after calibration run. Upgraded to 1.1-77. Ran 30db linearity test. Passed OK Screen capture attached.?
Very good service from R&L to resolve this. ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ?Tom ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ?KA1GXR |
