in Windows the c:\Users\xxx\AppData\Local\QTtinySA\QtTSAprefs.db must be deleted
Replace the 'xxx' with your Windows user name.

I try to run QtTinySA v1.0.2. Command prompt screen pops up but nothing is running.

QtTinySA v0.11.7 is working fine. Windows 10 laptop.

I had the same.
When I deleted ~/home/config/QtTinySA/QtTSAprefs.db all worked again.

We had a little discussion about this but since there is no clear explanation on this feature in the WiKi any help/clarification from you would be helpfull.
(As for me: some help on the extended trigger feature to trigger on a trace would also be nice.)?

One of the things I noticed is that the sweeptime on the ultra is not constant: e.g. if I set the sweeptime to 50 ms the actual sweeptime in zero-span differs with every sweep +/- some ms. That would also explain Don's problem with the interval not giving a steady picture: every sweep has a slightly different time.

TinySA Ultra Interval trigger still not working

Back in 2023 I reported that the Interval trigger feature you implemented for me on the TinySA was not working properly on the TinySA Ultra.? Today I upgraded the firmware on my TinySA Ultra to tinySA4_v1.4-196-g1e9c187.bin and I tested the Interval trigger feature again and it's still not working properly.
?
My test is to feed in a 60 or 120 Hz square wave (which is rich in harmonics) into the TinySA Ultra, set the TinySA Ultra to Zero Span mode with a frequency of 1.8 MHz, set the display sweep time to 20 msec, select interval trigger with a time of 16.66 msec and I should see spikes that are stationary (very little movement left or right) but I do not get stationary spikes on the TinySA Ultra whereas I do on the TinySA when doing this same test.

Sure would be nice to get this feature working properly on the TinySA Ultra as the TinySA Ultra has the built in LNA as well as expanded frequency coverage.

I'm sure your buried with the new TinySA Ultra Plus (congrats) but please put this on your to do list if possible.

When the 3.5 mono jack is fully inserted, the jack groundline shorts the connector's R-channel with the connector's ground. Since R and L are internally linked in the #Ultra, the audio signal is grounded.

These are signals in the ISM band. The horizontal bar is a nearby (outdoor?) sensor. They are very wideband and pita for shure.?
These signals are very common in urban surroundings..

Hi,

If you mean the short horizontal bar, that looks like noise just increased briefly on entire band. It's difficult to say what that is.

But if you're talking about the vertical lines visible in equal spacing and one is zoomed on subsequent picture. That to me looks like an inverter or a switch mode power supply. Probably a rather small one to cover 2m (or it has wiring that happens to favour that band).

The tiny telescopic antenna should be good enough to pick that up if it comes from your house. Just walk around and try to find it. I'd set a fast scan rate and maybe max hold. Go into a room, max hold for 60s, see how bad is it. Go into the next room. And so on.

As for specific frequency you gave to experiment. Sometimes it is better to set very wide to see few MHz. Sometimes it's better to zoom in on one line.

Mind they may drift in frequency as the device heats up/cools down or the load on it changes.
