I'm happy with the two I already have and don't need the extra frequency coverage.? The only thing that would tempt me to buy another is a decent size screen, 10" would be nice.? At 62 who wants to put on glasses to see a tiny 4" screen.? That is why I like the USB interface where I can put info up on my 55" monitor and view without glasses.

The ZS406 referred to is genuine. No clones yet of the ZS406.
The Ultra+ ZS406 normal mode input goes to 900 MHz where the original Ultra ZS405 goes to 800 MHz

One of the issues with sprays/coatings is the question of adhesion over time.?? That conductive coating is all well and good as long as it stays attached to the inside of the case, but when flakes start falling off, it's a problem.?

Maybe an output RF buffer amp could offer some safety, I use it on
radios sometime and just dangle a wire near the antenna, but always
been scared to use it to connect in the circuit.?

Sorry for my english, Iam spanish. I have a very very little experience? but I told you I use the TINY SA in generator mode, connecting it to the transceiver¡¯s antenna. As a precaution, I disconnect the microphone first to avoid accidentally transmitting (TX) and sending the signal to the TINY SA, which could damage it. In vintage transceivers like yaesu I put out one conector for TX mode and I dont puta the transceivers in TX mode.
Another thing I use the generator mode for is to produce an audible tone and feed it into the microphone input. This is because some equipment requires a signal for adjustments, like 1 kHz or 300 kHz tones, to check and set the maximum power output at those frequencies, especially for SSB modes.
You have to be careful not to connect it to a pin that has voltage. For instance, some microphones have a pin with 8 volts(for example). Make sure you don¡¯t connect it there, or those 8 volts could travel through the cable to the TINY SA. I¡¯m not sure if this precaution is absolutely necessary, but I always make sure to check which pins have voltage and which ones are strictly for audio input, just to be safe.

Hi You suggest use this type of material inside of case instead copper spray??
I found the dissipating shielding material to work better than reflective shielding when using this type of application. I use the nickle version (lossy)and it works surprisingly well. Expensive but works.You don't want to use highly reflective spray like the copper spray since you don't want to create cavity effects inside the case. That said, you still have to work with the big opening of the display. There are some commercial display screens that I am aware of, but you lose the touch screen function.
