Re: Touchscreen calibration

Thanks for your help. I've only had it for a few days and bought it from the approved seller on Amazon. So I'm hesitant to start repairs on this new device, since I might actually damage it and make it non-returnable. So I'm going to exchange it for a new one. Perhaps, since this issue had been around for a while, it might be better to improve quality control at the factory in China? I suppose that's not possible, or it would have happened by now. I am very impressed with the Tiny SA, thank you for designing it.

Re: New TinySA Ultra calibration problem

No dispute needed. The HW is OK/
Something in the FW makes it fail, just try again and all should be OK when it succeeds.
Let me try to find and repair this annoying FW bug

New TinySA Ultra calibration problem

Hello,
I bought a TinySA Ultra from Zeenko Store, and I'm having an issue. Calibration doesn't always succeed—it might pass once, but then fail several times after that. However, the self-test completes without any issues. The device is brand new, and I haven't connected anything to it yet. Should I open a dispute?

Locked Tiny SA Ultra on TV show

Last night I was watching the TV show "The Curse of Skinwalker ranch" (Serie 5 episode 9) and they used de Tiny SA Ultra to find anomalies in the area.?

Re: Touchscreen calibration

This may help:
Open the case
Release the latch of the LCD cable
Carefully try to reseat the cable and close the latch

Touchscreen calibration

My new TinySA is having touchscreen issues. I have repeatedly done the touch calibration. When I do the touch test, I can't draw vertical lines, only horizontal lines. I can't use the menus and have to rely on the button on top. Are there any suggestions as to how to fix this or should I just send it back?

Re: Exit Mode menu

I found out how to exit the Mode menu by pressing "Return to LOW in". So disregard my last message.

Thanks

Exit Mode menu

I am very new to the TinySA, having just received it yesterday. I am trying to follow the instructions in 's video "tinySA Frequency Correction" on YT. My problem is that once I set the Cal Frequency to 10Mhz, I am stuck in the Lo Out menu. If I press the Mode button from the Lo Out menu, the menu I am returned to does not have a "Back" option. I have to turn off the tinySA to get out of the menu, and no longer have the 10Mhz reference set. I am using the tinySA_v1.4-175-g1419a93 firmware.
?
Thanks,
Geoff

marker to cf stuck jog wheel

Can't find anything mentioning this so far.

Using marker to cf on frequency menu changes the jog wheel to a span jog, quite useful when zooming in on a peak signal. Bottom right span value has a small triangle next to it.

But I can't find any UI way to put the jog wheel back to being a marker jog.

Power cycle, on/off, resets the jog wheel to marker mode. Reseting the markers doesn't.

Pointers?

Re: Pre-sale, tinySA ULTRA plus

No, its not all CPU.? If you're a digital type, that may seem be the weak link.? However, it is not.? Swepting too fast through a narrow filter will alias and misrepresent the signal.? On the screen an unmodulated "spike" in frequency becomes a bad rendition of a double exponential with a long tail.? Ever heard of ringing due to a narrow analog or digital filter?? Something similar is happening by scanning too fast.? It's not in the digital domain.? Both analog and digital filters suffer from ringing - shock excitation much like the clapper striking the bell.

It seems everyone wants faster scan times.
Is it just down to CPU? Is it an upgrade that is reasonable? This device is really important because it is afordable.

Re: New FW release: Bug fixes and DRAWPAD function

I too had the same problem. Reloaded 177 with success.

Re: Pre-sale, tinySA ULTRA plus

Hello Kurt, sorry for the oversight. "Max low input frequency" should be 900MHz for the ZS-406 and ZS-407 in the normal mode

Re: Pre-sale, tinySA ULTRA plus

Shortly after this announcement
