I just checked with Maggie, still plenty of stock, no issues with the account, must have been a glitch

I guess they're sold out already as I just get the message that the account has been closed when I try to order.?

Re: tinySA has been listed in Alibaba store

It is exactly like like the nanoVNA except the menu fonts are bigger.
These is a serial interface over USB command set very similar to nanoVNA and there are two initial PC application, one will easily allow you to make scans of thousands of points.

The resolution filters are fixed inside an IC and can not be changed

Gary,

If it is anything like the NanoVNA that I use regularly, it will be that I basically turn it on using the built in screen.
Every thing else is done with the USB cable and computer. It makes the screen virtually as big as your screen.
I use a 15" laptop and it is awesome.?
I used it at our amateur radio club and a 1/2 a dozen people gathered around my laptop as we tuned a filter viewing it on the 15" screen.

Re: TinySA resolution filters

I just learned of the tinySA a few minutes ago via another list. I'd like to get more details on the filter implementation. I'm a retired seismic research scientist/programmer with almost 40 years of DSP experience. So I think I can probably help. I know a lot of ways to do DSP operations.

Have Fun!

If this first run is well received, I expect that the US companies that are reselling the NanoVNA-H (I know about R&L and Gigaparts) will make large purchases of the tinySA and resell it. They're a good alternative for US residents; delivered cost from R&L is about the same as ordering from Hugen's Alibaba store and you get it faster.
The bad news is that the initial production run was only 300 units to test the waters.? Most units from the initial run will probably be sold on the Asian market.? The good news is that this isn't hugen's first rodeo, so if the first production run meets expectations he should be able to gear up a second production run pretty quickly.

Re: tinySA has been listed in Alibaba store

Alibaba sometimes randomly rejects credit card payments. I tried to order one of the NanoVNA test kits from there and it wouldn't take any of my cards, offering wire transfer as an alternative -- but wire transfer fees at US banks are very high and that would have cost me twice the value of the kit. I ended up getting the board that is offered on OSHPark instead and building up from that.

But I had no trouble ordering a tinySA.

Somebody over on the NanoVNA group reported that Alibaba asked him for a registered company name and wouldn't let him order without one. But I have only seen the one report of that issue.

Re: tinySA has been listed in Alibaba store

First create an account.
Then chat with Maggie, the shop online contact. She is very helpful
Or contact hugen

Re: tinySA has been listed in Alibaba store

I'd love one to play with :)

Extremely useful for outdoor sniffing, tracking, being nosey, finding, and such like.

Re: tinySA has been listed in Alibaba store

I'm unable to purchase it on Alibaba, requesting me to use T/T wire instead of credit card. Is it already sold out or is there something I'm missing?

Congratulations on your release!

No big problem update to 4` display, tinySA code prepared for this (i port all my code from NanoVNA vs 4` support).

Yes, that would be nice - and a small retractable soldering iron opposite the SMA connectors...

Correction: tinySA Features #features

{Correction was made to give proper credit to OneOfEleven}

? ? DisLord was part of the tinySA Beta testing program, so one of the features that made it into the tinySA UI is the very nice 3D user interface that was originated by OneOfEleven and merged into DiSlord's NanoVNA branch.

? The UI enhancements give a nice modern look and feel to the tinySA, and are definitely a value added feature.? Those user's who have upgraded to the 3D UI on the NanoVNA can attest to its value.

? Special acknowledgement to both DiSlord and OneOfEleven.

Dick,

  • Ship to?United States by Alibaba.com Air …
    $15.59

? ?My past experience ordering from hugen's Alibaba store is that the $15.59 shipping fee usually gets the package to me in the United States in 2 weeks versus up to a?month from other Chinese sellers

Re: tinySA Features #features

I take base idea of OneOfEleven. And implement this UI to all NanoVNA based projects (include V2)
All NanoVNA UI?refactored for more compact/fast and easy to add new features. Added vatiable icons, new fonts.

Re: tinySA Features #features

Unfortunately all the screen captures and the video on the wiki are still the old UI.
