How to stop or abort an ongoing scan or scanraw command?
Hello there,
?
I am using the Tiny SA Ultra+ (ZS-406, firmware 1.4-196) and sending scan and scanraw commands to retrieve spectrum data, however I was wondering Is there any way to stop or abort an ongoing scan or scanraw command before it completes?
From my tests, it seems that once the command is sent, the device continues the process until completion. But in certain cases, I would like to interrupt the scan early (e.g., if the user cancels the operation in my application).
Thanks in advance!

Re: New FW release: Reduce spurs for ZS-407
the level is different because the signal sources are not directly connected to the SA input, but were just near the connector. two signal sources, one with a lower freq. the other with a higher.? SPAN HP8592B 20mhz, and on tinySA 30mhz, On Tue, Feb 11, 2025, 9:45?AM hwalker via <herbwalker2476=[email protected]> wrote:

thank you, all the spurs are gone, just in case I cleaned the cable contacts with alcohol. ср, 12 февр. 2025 г., 12:22 Erik Kaashoek via <erik=[email protected]>:

Shorten C85 close to the audio connector
Or use the pin header pin marked PA4 for for 0-3 V output

Just received my ZS-407 - a very nice little instrument :-) Seems like listening signal on 3,5mm jack is AC ??coupled? Is it possible to change it to DC coupling, so that a constant RF level gives a constant DC voltage on the jack? |
Re: New FW release: Capture repaired and meas[1|2]:volt added
this problem immediately pops up after testing and remains so., reboot does not help, only reset. calibration goes fine. If you run the test, error 12 comes out, after that this peak remains. until you do clear config ср, 12 февр. 2025 г., 11:23 Святослав Маханьков via <svyatoslavx=[email protected]>:

Tnx " It now goes up to 30,522 and interestingly, it works. I tested it at 24 and it sees a signal, I don't need it any further, but it probably works up to 30. Thanks for the help! " On Tue, Feb 11, 2025, 9:45?AM hwalker via <herbwalker2476=[email protected]> wrote:

Incorrect spacing between text of options visible on screen
Hi, with the various options visible in the vertical bar on the left of the image below and after recalling a previously saved preset, in my TinySA Ultra with firmware v1.4-196 there is a problem with the spacing of the text of the various onscreen options that causes the date to go under the green icon representing the Sd card, as visible in this screenshot: ? ? ? This results in the date and time not being readable and, sometimes, when trying to press the green icon representing the Sd card, the screen for changing the date appears instead of saving the current image visible on the screen. ? The problem sometimes does not occur as visible in the picture below: ? ? ? I report this here in the hope that the problem can perhaps be resolved with the next firmware update. ? Bye ? ?

Re: New FW release: Reduce spurs for ZS-407
Hi Question as regards ZS-407 why is it locked, is it? why can't we see how far it can go. we have a record that the first ultra see @20GHz.. " When you enter the frequency MENU, it says in the lower left corner, choose between 0 and 17.922ghz. And if I enter a number greater than 17.922, it returns me to that number and does not accept a higher number when entering the frequency, so that is its limit.
