New 190 firmware issues
Erik,
After updating from the 171 to 190 firmware I noticed that the correction table for direct and direct_lna were very different between the two versions. Also, I found that the 171 settings and correction that I stored on the SD card prior to the update is not compatible with the new firmware as they report "Format err". Are both of these observations as expected?

Re: What to do when a selftest fails
reset the device, make sure the wires are connected securely, and repeat the calibration procedure. I had a problem like yours, it turned out to be a bad contact in the SMA. пт, 20 дек. 2024 г., 10:18 Святослав Маханьков <svyatoslavx@...>:

Don't rush to buy spare parts, check the connection, take another wire. пт, 20 дек. 2024 г., 10:13 Takuo Watanabe via <wtakuo=[email protected]>:

Re: What to do when a selftest fails
I recently discovered that my TinySA Ultra fails self test No. 14. As you can see in the attached photo, it displays “Signal level Critical”. Another photo shows it failing Level calibration (100kHz to 5.327GHz) with the output “Signal level incorrect”. I purchased this device from the Zeenko Store in January this year, and I remember that it did not have these problems at least when I purchased it. The screenshots show the results using the latest firmware (v1.4-189) at the time of writing. I have tried several previous versions, including the version (v1.4-142) I purchased, and I have obtained the same results in all cases. I have executed CLEAR CONFIG before each test. I have also tried several other SMA cables, but the results were the same. Apart from the above issues, the device seems to be working fine. However, it seems difficult to use it for serious measurements because it cannot be calibrated. I would be grateful if you could tell me how to deal with this. |

开云体育Just got a reply from R&L and it seems that I won the honor of ordering the last old model. Will have to live with it. ? Thanks for your reply. ? 73 ? Roger ? From: [email protected] <[email protected]> On Behalf Of Roger Hartel via groups.io

Send triggered message over USB
I was curious if there was a way to send the triggered state of the tinySA over USB. I would like to be able to monitor some specific bands trigger at some threshold then store the data and then send it over serial for further processing. I can't seem to find a way (without modifying firmware) to do this.
?
The advantage I see in doing it this way is that the analyzer is inevitably faster at doing this then if I try to constantly poll scanraw -> process for hits ->? then store? to my computer.
?
All ideas are welcomed, I'm still new to this device.
