Many thanks to Erik's efforts, we expect to be able to launch tinySA ULTRA plus in the coming month!? Includes two versions, the ZS-406 and ZS-407, the ZS-406 will go on sale next week and the ZS-407 is expected to go on sale at the end of December.
The ZS-406 version is used to replace the current version of tinySA ULTRA,up to 900MHz in normal mode to cover the European 868MHz ISM band.
The ULTRA mode of the ZS-407 version can go up to 7.3 GHz without the use of harmonics, and the LNA is effective over the full frequency range. With LNA on at 6GHz, DANL is as low as 163dBm/Hz, possible to use the fastest 850kHz RBW to find small signals as low as -100dBm.
?
The look of tinySA ULTRA plus will remain the same as the current version of tinySA ULTRA, and the firmware will remain compatible with tinySA ULTRA, which means that any of your peripherals and apps developed for tinySA ULTRA can be seamlessly migrated to the new tinySA ULTRA plus.
?
Below are the pre-release specs, there may be some changes in the final version, the final version is based on what Erik has posted on the wiki.

Re: tinySA software counterfeit? Solved.
It seems permanently resolved now!
Following the advice of the last messages I had also tried with a
professional semi-rigid cable, 2 ferrite cores, screen with
aluminum. Great tips to use in measurements and I will follow. In
this case, however: same error.
But, with the battery fully charged and tinySA connected to a USB
power supply, the test is now OK.? I have tried again several times
and the tests were always passed.
So it is not an interference error, but an error caused by low
charge level.
Thank you all for your valuable advice.

Oggetto: Re: [tinysa] tinySA software counterfeit? Solved.
The RG174 cable supplied with the tinySA is single shielded and has poor immunity to interference, try to keep it away from the switching power supply.

Re: tinySA software counterfeit? Solved.
I only use a low noise linear supply with my TinySA and liteVNA. I power the hub also with the linear supply, with the supply from the computer disabled inside the hub. Moreover, I also only use USB cables with molded ferrite cores on both ends. This keeps the screens free of any external spurs introduced by the USB port.

Re: New FW release: Bug fixes and DRAWPAD function
hi,
alter upgrading my tinySA ULTRA to fw 187 I have trouble by connecting my laptop. After around 40 sec the connection is gone. if I go back to the previous fw everything works well. Is this a known trouble? btw, TinySA Ultra is a fantastic tool!! 73, PA0MIK (Gerrit)

Re: tinySA software counterfeit? Solved.
Now that selftest works, you have a portable spectrum analyze with whip antenna. Go hunt for the spur :-)

Re: tinySA software counterfeit? Solved.
Spurs ?? Harmonics ??
All the way to the left looks like part of one, then another on
screen, then a couple of very little pips then a bigger one, etc.?
If they are harmonics would the distance between indicate the
fundamental frequency.
Do you have a Uninterruptible backup power supply ?? Can you plug
your computer into a more remove outlet in case emissions are
conducted ?? Or other peripheral that powers up and down, or goes
into standby with your computer being on or off ?
Especially if you use your computer and USB to record data for notes
etc, having to turn off the computer is a disadvantage.

If I turn off the computer and the 2 monitors are on, no error,
all tests are passed.
If I turn on the computer (ASUS TUF i9-10900x 10 Core 3.70GHz +
nvidia 4090 + 64 GB RAM) the self test gives error 3.
I attach the screenshot
This is something to remember if measurements are to be made.
Probably a $33,000 HP spectrum analyzer under the same
circumstances would not give error :))
