Yes I think I have a defective LoRa module on this. I want to test it with the analyzer. But I don’t know if the miner would be the input or the output.?

No clue what that is, what you’re testing it for or why you would use a spectrum analyser. ?

If it is a transmitter, be careful not to destroy the tinySA

Hey thanks! I will check these out. Just to be sure. if I’m connecting it to a miner to that’s sending a test beacon, the SA will be the output correct?

STart by reading the spec on the wiki
This will tell you what input to use.
Then have a look at the menu tree
At the bottom you will find how to select the needed input

the antenna is on a 915mhz band. I've been using a 5.8db antenna. I can send a test beacon to the device that the SA should be able to pick up. Not sure what settings to change though on the SA? I'm new to all of this. Do i need select high or low input or output?

The configuration database is not updated unless a tinySA is connected when you change the preferences value.? This is unintentional and I will fix it - I will add it as an issue to the Github .

Regarding problems running on Ubuntu 22.04 (etc) I didn't realise I hadn't tested this after I upgraded all my PCs to 24.04 and built the executable on 24.04.? I will find a way to build a 22.04 compatible executable and add it to the 'releases' when I can.

if you have the ultra version, you can make a backup of your firmware, it will be saved on the sd. if you have never updated or reset, save the calibration table, and then you can safely update. before updating, do a full reset.

I purchased a TinySA a few years ago and the build Firmware is V1.1-72.? I would like to update the Firmware in order to use the 'sweep out trigger' facility that was added later.? Current Firmware build appears to be at V1.4-175.? There is almost four years of development shown in the change log between these two Firmware builds, so can I do this upgrade in one go or is my version too old to take it?

Ubuntu 24.04, trying to run 11.7 from a command line with python 3.12, in a venv.?
Previously I had installed V0.10.1 using apt and it does communicate.
Had to erase the old .config/QtTSAprefs.db file with 11.7
Is there something I'm missing, python text output below.? Thanks for any ideas.

I dont't think that there is something wrong with my linux installation. Debian stable uses glibc 2.36. QtTinySA linux
executable v0.10.6 is running fine here.
Is the QtTinySA linux executable v0.10.7 really running in your Kubuntu 22.04? Ubuntu 22.04 ("jammy") uses glibc 2.35.
