Hardware versions ...
Hi, a very interesting device - and I'm sorely tempted, but on a restricted budget so looking for a used unit.
Is there any documentation on the various hardware revisions and the differences between them ? Just in case there are any problematic versions. I have also seen mention of an -H version - what is that ?? I have seen a UTube video describing it used with an external mixer to produce a tracking generator to look at filter performance.? I already have a small selection of SMA mixers and that would be a very useful tool. TIA Dave |
Re: TinySA In stock at R&L Electronics
Snagged one. Thank you for the heads-up!
73, DE WB6KDH Chuck -- I have both NanoVNA and the NanoVNA-H4. The H4 is even more impressive than the original. I've seen a couple of YTs on the tinySA and I'm very intrigued. I'm raring to sponge up any and all info on it! I already have an IFR-A-7550 with TG, but it's limited in many modern overlay features (markers, for one). For the price, the tinySA looks like it needs to join my bench. |

Erik,
? One of the members said they were having trouble running tinySA.exe and I was going to suggest tinySA-App but noticed that it has been pulled from the 'Files' section.? Is that until you have redacted the NanoVNA UI elements? - Herb |

Re: Finding frequencies of household transmitters
I did it! According to the wiki provided above.
Went to the driveway alarm, watched the screen and waved my hand in front of it, blooey! Giant signal wide pulse (of some sort). Somewhere slightlyabove the 433mhz center i had put in. Pretty neat. Then, went to the outside temp/humidity sensor and waited, no way to make it do anything. Out of nowhere a big but much narrower rf pulse in the sam area slightly above 433. It puts out one pulse every 30 seconds or so. Next step is to follow the additional instructions in the wiki and look into the pulse. And make it pause automatically. Thanks all. |

I was concerned about that (not yet available). There have been some hints that somebody is considering the larger screen. My tired old eyes can still read the smaller screen. When the larger screen is available I will probably buy right away. Another option is to use the computer software and whatever size display you have for your computer. I have a 31 inch HDTV through the HDMI port on one of mine:) There is no trouble seeing anything on that! It is not very portable though. Portability may not be a real issue most of the time. I am not using the PC software - yet. 73, Bill KU8H bark less - wag more On 9/30/20 8:41 PM, Dale Parfitt wrote:

Re: tinySA with a larger screen
Sorry, I sit corrected. That was the SAA2 that got the large screen version. It's probably just a matter of time until a larger screen tinySA happens, but that time is not yet :( On Wed, Sep 30, 2020 at 10:27 PM Karl Heinz Kremer - K5KHK <khk@...> wrote:

Hugen is already offering a version with a 4 inch screen and N connectors. I haven't heard of work on anything even larger.
