Yep.? I had done that up to step 5.? Every port I tried said "The port has been opened by another application..."? I guess I'll try one and see what happens.? Does the tinySA care what com port is

That's a good point. IIRC this is a symptom of incorrect firmware. Firmware for the Ultra resides here: http://athome.kaashoek.com/tinySA4/DFU/ For the TinySA classic it is here:
