Noise sources and Attenuators for BPF alignment

They ignored by email as well, so you are in good company. In any event, I waited about 2-1/2 weeks. ?You can always call them to get an ETA immediately before or after you order.

I received mine from Aliexpress and the Zeenko store without any issues. It arrived a few days earlier than scheduled and they kept me up to date on the status. Tim K4SHF

I have completely ignored Aliexpress after receiving fake clones of equipment that were not up to spec (of the authentic gear). Now it seems that Aliexpress is just an umbrella for other retailers

Glass is an excellent dielectric for RF. But don't forget to compensate for the relative dielectric constant. In the following the first column is the relative dielectric constant and the second

Teflon might be a better choice as it is easier to form, but glass is an excellent dielectric and does not deform under pressure. Dave

Re: and a small discone antenna
How good is glass at these frequencies?? Mechanically it seems like a piece of glass tubing about 1/2" in diameter by 1/2" long between the cone and disk would add a lot of strength.

As stated in the previous email, I will not deal with the Chinese suppliers. Especially AlliExpress!! Nor will my CU deal with AlliExpress for my credit card. I will gladly wait for R&L to show stock.
