Re: Face to face help with FW upgrade anyone?
Mathew, Look at the USB port on your Chromebook. Is the internal of the USB connector blue? If so, it is a USB3. Fred/N7PN wrote:

Hi Matthew, I'm in Mountain View. If you have reason to get down this way we could connect for an upgrade. Dave wrote: -- ------------------------------ Dave Koberstein keep in touch: davek@...

Re: Face to face help with FW upgrade anyone?
Hi, and thanks. I do believe it is USB3 but I do not know. The Chromebook was purchased in late 2021. I will look to see where I can find an external USB2 hub. Don't know what such a thing looks

Re: Face to face help with FW upgrade anyone?
Is the Chrome book USB 3? It has been reported that a USB3 connection does not work with the driver. My Lenovo Chrome Book is USB3. Maybe try an external USB 2 hub?

Hi Dave, I'd agree that a very short antenna may permit some sort of estimation if you have nothing else available, it's not ideal, especially if trying to measure a nearby hand held. The problem is

Re: SECOND HARMONIC
Good morning everybody. Firstly, I think the equipment's antenna can be used. Because the transfer band used (~90 MHz) and its second harmonic (~180 MHz) are practically in a range that does not
Re: Detecting low power motion sensors
How are these sensors powered? Perhaps the batteries have discharged and they are no longer transmitting. If mains powered, try tracing the cables using a suitable detector used by builders etc.

Re: SECOND HARMONIC
A very small/short hunk of wire as a function of wavelength is generally not frequency sensitive (within reason). A point source exhibits, theoretically, no frequency sensitivity. Dave - W?LEV

Re: SECOND HARMONIC
The supplied antenna does not have a flat response. 100 MHz should be 3M in free space. 1/4 wave is 75cm, or 30 in. The antenna supplied is closer to a 1/4 wave at the harmonic, than the fundamental.

My apologies... MEASURE/HARMONIC is something else again. I thought the original post was only looking for harmonics in the general sweep. Never mind... ???

The TinySA's do NOT contain internal front end filters. They DO contain internal and selectable attenuators. LPF = Low Pass Filter - passes mostly below the corner frequency BPF = Band Pass Filter -
