I had always thought that the 1968 TA&G annual report was the last issued prior to the Southern takeover. Well I was wrong. There was an abbreviated report for 1969. Unlike the magazine sized reports of years past, it was essentially a booklet. It stated that Southern tendered their offer on 11 July 1969.
