New NS "TAG" Heritage, Stuck Brakes and More In This Grab Bag
At 5:30-6:30 min. mark in the linked video, you see the new TAG heritage locomotive traversing Horseshoe Curve in the snow. Beautiful. One of my favorite TAG boxcar slides is a TAG 50 foot boxcar

Well I have had a few side discussions about this with TAG and CofG historians Arnold Eaves and Todd Horton. I think the common theme from talking to both gentleman is our shared sense of shock. I

Hmmm....?
This content isn't available right now
When this happens, it's usually because the owner only shared it with a

This video depicts a surviving Brill model 55 motorcar. Remember TAG ran two of these branded as ¡°The Scooter¡±. For the first half or so they are running in reverse. Later you see it traveling

Other than operating employees and track folks, TAG people lost their jobs when the merger took place. Or so I thought?!?! I always assumed that there was no TAG office presence left in Chattanooga.
