New Error Message

I fired up Tablesmith today and every table, no matter what, is giving me the same error message.

"mcscorlib: Input string was not in a correct format"

Some guidance would be much appreciated?

?

?

Can you provide some more information? Was this a new installation or an existing one that was working previously? Which version of Windows (I'm assuming TS is v5.2)?

This is an existing installation that has been working well for years (until some time in the last month or two). Version 5.2, on the most current version of Windows 10 home.

That's odd, especially it had been working fine for so long before. Obviously the TS installation didn't change. My guess is that something else may have mucked up the library Tablesmith is trying to call.

Have you tried installing the portable version? All the files/libraries/etc. are self-contained there; I'd be curious to see if that works or if it continues to error out.

I haven't - I will try and report back.

Success. I found that by installing the portable version into a dropbox folder I was able to get it to work again.

Glad to hear it! I'd like to be able to tell you what caused the original issue, but I don't know how I'd be able to do that. But the important thing is that you're up and running again.

I really need to get to work on that mobile version...
