DId that the first time. It didn't. However, for what ever reason, after freezing twice when editing? the table, and getting back in, it seems to have stopped. It seems to be behaving at the

Go to the executable and right click on it, select Troubleshoot Compatibility, and follow the onscreen prompts. One of those setting should resolve the issue.

Re: Trying to install Tablesmith 5.2 on new Dell 3671, at first it worked, now it won't open, reinstall caused it to freeze
Except now it seems if I want to reload after editing the table I have to close the program and open it again. The change I made saved, but would not reload. It will reload after the

I reinstalled it and it seems to be working for now. I am not sure what happened there, but if it freezes or goes out again I may be back.

I got a new desktop computer (my old one, a Gateway,? was over 10 years old and had regularly been making the click of death, so I? felt it was "time.") I have been trying to reinstall various

Re: Tablesmith using appimage
I could actually see a command line version being useful. But cross
platform function would be very useful, IMHO.
But my use case isn't actually normal! :)

Re: Tablesmith using appimage
If I converted TS to .NET Core (which would be trivial), I could run the
engine pretty much anywhere - Linux, iOS, Windows, Android, or Mac. I can't
create a universal UI, though. Deployment would

I've had good luck with CrossOver supporting Windows applications, in
general. It can be a bit hit and miss sometimes, but it has gotten better

If you're looking to run TS on Linux...
I've had very good results using Codeweavers CrossOver to run TS5.1 on
Linux. Very stable on CrossOver.
TS5.2 WON'T run on CrossOver, the .Net requirement is

Re: Tablesmith using appimage
I'd never heard of AppImage until now, but from what I can see I'd have to
rewrite TS to run on Linux before using this. It's not multi-platform in
the "Windows/Mac/Linux" sense but cross-platform for

Has anyone tried to build an appimage version.? I am not a programmer, but it looks promising from a working on different platforms perspective.

Re: use of the ~Reference directory
There's no programmatic limit on how "deep" you can reference other tables.
I suppose if you got ambitious you could fill up your memory, but that
would take awhile :)
One note - Tables don't care
