Re: McAfee Antivirus thinks Tablesmith exe is malware
Usually the Windows built-in system is as good as any of them. At least according to the experts on security systems. On Thu, Aug 15, 2024 at 5:44?PM Warbear.Prime via <thewarbear=[email protected]> wrote:

Re: McAfee Antivirus thinks Tablesmith exe is malware
So they still work the same way they always have, bloat the system so virus' can't function....LOL Honestly though, Sophos Home is really good. and worth a check out.On Thu, Aug 15, 2024 at 11:15?PM ouchie via <joefizel=[email protected]> wrote:

Re: McAfee Antivirus thinks Tablesmith exe is malware
McAfee is wrong, it's also bloatware (not as bad as Norton's) but still not nice.? It does also depend on if you are running a full license copy or a free or trial etc version. If you (or anyone) need a recommended one, Sophos Home is free for non commercial, and is one of the best out there, though I am biased.? As I was (am) an admin/engineer, but I use the home one here and it's great. On Thu, Aug 15, 2024 at 12:06?AM ouchie via <joefizel=[email protected]> wrote:

It might be because it is such a small community of users. If the scan came back clean, you might want to just exclude it from future scans. On Wed, Aug 14, 2024 at 7:06?AM ouchie via <joefizel=[email protected]> wrote:

Re: Unable to reach a menu choice
Choosing 'Goree' sets the variable lieu_mission_specifique to 19. However when the group Typechoose is called, via [Typechoose=%lieu_mission_specifique%] then you get entry 18 (Rdolom) because Typechoose does not have an entry 19

Unable to reach a menu choice
Hello,
I dont get why in the little attached script, when in "Set Parameter" I select the last choice for "Lieu sp¨¦cifique de mission" which is " Gor¨¦e" i never get it selected in the result, I always get "Rdolom" as result ?! What's wrong with my script? Line 6 : where the parameter are set, with last choice "Goree" Line 1492 : what should be selected Thanks in advance? |
Re: The Pipe Symbol
Thanks for the reply. I get just the pipe, The odd thing is when I tested the blocks they were used exclusively which would mean TS is reading the code despite not using the block, maybe looking for the second pipe. If so, When I switched the location of the two blocks, I would then expect the error to switch places, but it did not.

I have never used Ascii in my code. But I will start now. Thanks again. Scott On Sunday, May 26th, 2024 at 3:17 PM, ErolB1 via groups.io <ErolB1@...> wrote:

Re: The Pipe Symbol
Apparently if Tablesmith encounters a single unmatched pipe, it will print the pipe. If it encounters a pipe and then a second pipe later on, it will try to interpret them as a variable assignment and will throw an error if it can't. A / to escape doesn't do anything.

In your code that doesn't given an error, do you get a pipe or a slash plus a pipe? One possible solution is to use the html code | for a pipe. Erol K. Bayburt ErolB1@... On 5/26/2024 11:38 AM, Scott via groups.io wrote:

Re: Exploding Dice
So, I got it working, and now have to integrate it into my main file. Thanks for the help. Works just like I wanted it to do. I have to add more values to the roll total, based on the profession of the family member.? Some have a higher mortality rate, some have a lower one.? Then compare that to a value I have set at 60.? If it's over, they're dead.? Simples.? Doing the same system for those that are just missing.? Does the PC know their family members?
