Use of butterfly design

mickncrispy

I sewed the butterfly out lastnight on a piece of blue satin in
matching thread and it looks stunning!!! I am going to use it to
make a little makeup purse for a friend who has been very kind to me
and currently needs a little cheering up. I think I will put her
initials on it with the flower font 1 that I purchased ages and ages
ago from Miems.

I was going to use the butterfly as an appliqe but dont think that
will work now I have stitched it out so I have patched the holes in
my tablecloth with tiny pieces of matching fabric and will sew the
butterfly directly over this and I'm pretty sure no-one but me (and
you guys) will ever know the holes were there!
