Could anyone tell me if a year old Esante 2 by babylock for $1200 is a
good deal? She said its been recently cleaned and not used since
serviced and she says she only used it a few times before that, this is
from rummage ads and there is no recourse for me to get my money back
in case of a bad deal.
There is also an ULT 2002 for $1000 or a new Innovis 1000 for $850.
I've been embroidering for about a year and I want to do the
transaction today, can anyone help me out by giving me advice. I can
not try any of these machines as they are all long distance and the
closest dealer is over 150 miles from me.

that is what I paid for my esante 2 ( slightly used) and I got a lot of stuff
with it, like all the hoops and several brother design cards,
several extra accessories for the sewing machine part.
I love it. The machine is a dream.

Pat I just purchased my esante a few weeks ago and paid $2999. for
it. I can honestly say I do not know much about machines... okay...

If you have no resourses for getting your money back, i recommend
you request COD shipping and pay the 25.00 for the cod charges!
The ULT sounds to good to be true. The best thing to do is a little
research. on all of them.

I had and still have a ULT 2001. but qput using in and started
using a SINGER XL6000 for personal reasons, but when I was thinking
of selling my ULT Which did have many extras, I was going to ask
over 2250 for it outright - was going to list it on Ebay for 2450.
So, It all depends - I also just had my serviced prior to selling.

The best thing you could do, is call the individual. Ask if COD
would be ok, and Pay the COD, if that is the machine you were
wanting to purchase.
