Date: Friday, July 11, 2008, 10:24 AM When we get a notice that there is a new design in the "files" section of an embroidery group, is there any way we can tell which file to go to if the person sending the notice doesn't tell us? Do we have to open every file and look through it? Thanks, Virginia [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] |

HI Virginia,
Not a stupid question at all as it can be difficult deciphering where those files are. One thing that makes is difficult is that the dates on the main folders are just when that folder was created, rather than the date of the latest upload to that folder. There is a way to do it though! It is all about deciphering the clues in the link. I am including the last file upload I could find on this group - From June 30th, to use as an example. ; %20DigitizersFriend.com/emailme.pdf In this link, the File folder is the second to last part (between the / in the url) and the last is the file name. So the Folder name in this example is "A Few Freebies From DigitizersFriend.com" and the name of the file is "emailme.pdf" If the file you want to download is deeper than one folder, then you have to go further back in the URL to find it. Every division in the URL after the word "files" is something you will need to click to access deeper into the files section (folders within folders). Hope this helps, Tracy J |
Thank You Tracy J. Not sure about the person that asked the question
but it helped me. Linda in ID. --- In HookedOnEmbroidery@..., "Tracy" <tracyjackson4@...> wrote: where those files are.
