Raggedy Ann

Hi Everybody,
This group is always so helpful and informative!! I have a couple
of questions. A lady I work with wants me to make her a Raggedy Ann
quilt for her. It will be a baby quilt. First.... She says she would
like a large panel with maybe a Raggedy Ann and Andy sitting back to
back and applique'd or just a Rag. Ann.. and then squares or
embroidery around the large panel.
My first question is does anyone know where I can find a pattern
for this applique and also some embroidery for the dolls.
My second question is how much should I charge her???? I have no
idea.

Thank you for your help in this.
Kim

Hi Kim,
I don't know offhand where to find a Raggedy Ann design but you might
try going to search4designs.com and join for free. You get unlimited
searches for a whole week before you are limited to 3 searches a day.
If you join for $14.95, you get unlimited searches from now on.
Anyway, go to the search engine on site, type in Raggedy Ann and it
will show all the websites that have free designs to download plus
the designs they sell. These sites also have links for more free
designs plus what they sell. Hope this helps. Carol

Thank you for your help in this.

Kim,
Try Julia has many Rosie (Raggedy) designs doing all sorts of things. Hope this helps a little.

I bought these cute designs recently, and it came with a pattern to
make a 14 inch Annie doll. As yet I haven't used them, but will be
doing a quilt with them in the near future.

I'm not sure this is what you are after, but it may help.

Thank you Gail.... I will show them to the lady and see if that might work. My other thought is to buy a pattern for a doll and then kinda make an applique from the pattern.
