I just uploaded some pics of my black Jacobean needle turn hand appliqu
quilt. I have no idea how many different scraps I used in it but there are
a lot <ggg> Be sure to click on the 'large' size to see the quilting
better. The pics don't do it justice. My sister's business partner did the
long arm quilting. No 'puzzle piece' stippling for her. They asked me what
I wanted to see in the quilting. I told them they were the experts and to
make the quilt 'sing'. it was great when it went to them but it was
wonderful when it came back. Truly a 'grand opera'. I would recommend
Terry's quilting to anyone. If you need a quilter I would be happy to give
you the info.

There is no embroidery on the quilt but it is the one I was referring to in
an earlier post. It is entered in Paducah so hopefully it will get chosen
for judging. I will probably enter it in Houston too.

I still have some that my mom made from scraps too. All the fabric left
over from the clothes we sewed for ourselves went into them. She also used
factory cut aways that an aunt got for her in the CA garment district (many
years ago now)

Please come back to and re download the free hummingbird file. Somewhere along the way it got zipped up with the other info, and zipped again , then again....It is there, but getting to it is quite secret! LOL I assure you that it wasn't meant to be that difficult!! lol

Just to clarify, these are the kind of bobbins you wind yourself, not the pre-wound kind.

They are Brother brand size SA155.
