Yes...DON'T!!!! Hoop your stabilizer and either pin or baste the shirt to the stabilizer. You can also use an adhesive spray made for embroidery projects. Hooping a thick fabric is a disaster waiting

Sue,This is how I do mine. I hoop cutaway, then spray kk2000 not too much where the stitching is I then put the sweatshirt on top and solvy and pins just to hold around the edge and the baste stitch,

I don't hoop them. I hoop the cut away stabilizer, use spray adhesive and lay the sweatshirt on the stabilizer, then baste in the hoop. I have always had good results. Trudi trudi@...
