I just received an invitation to participate in an up coming craft show. I just have no ideas this year. I have done baby bibs, note pads (magnets).
Help!!!! I would like any suggestions. The craft show is the?1st of November at?our local Catholic?church.

Here is my story, Glenna who is a member of this group posted a tip about
Carbonite. It is a online back up service and you get a trial membership
for free. I thought what the heck and I signed up. It took about 3 days to
back up my hard drive since it runs when the computer is in sleep mode as
not to use your resources when you are working. Anyway I didn't give it
much thought and forgot it was running. Well my computer was having trouble
and would take 3 or 4 attempts to get it to boot up. So I did a back up to
my external hard drive and took my computer in to be repaired.

I got home and brought out my lap top and plugged in my external hard drive
to load onto my lap top. Well, my external was dead. I had just back up to
the external and checked to make sure the files where on it but in the
short time it had crashed. Then I remembered Carbonite.woo hoo! I
downloaded all my data files to my lap top and transferred the account to my
lap top. When I got my computer back I transferred my Carbonite account
back to my desk top and downloaded my files back to my desk top. What was
really cool was that I didn't lose the data on my desk top but Carbonite was
able to detect new files or files that had been changed and only downloaded
those files.



For $50 a year you cannot go wrong.

Isnt it interesting that a item (computer) that is fairly new to our
society has totally taken over...and at times it is the devil. I
think all of us has had a problem with computer crashes and if you
havent well you are on borrowed time. LOL...But thanks for the good
ideas for extra back up. I do have an external hard drive and I back
up to that monthly. I am thinking I need to do a download to CDs
though or perhaps DVDs. It sure is frustrating when you lose a lot of
data or the data you do recover is in huge clusters of unidentifiable
clumps. But anyway ....good luck everyone on the data saving front.
Believe me if you dont have some manner of saving designs in case you
have a crash..youll be very very very sorry. Candy in seattle.

Great idea Mary Lou! Reminders are never a bad thing. I've been put in that
position before where a friend asked me for a copy of a design that I'd
gotten free when they couldn't and it's VERY hard to refuse a friend, but I
did. That friend was very angry with me however for a long time and that's
just fair that someone would put one into that position in asking for
something they KNOW they shouldn't be asking for and then be angry when
turned down.

While many of you may have received my chef design or many other
free designs not only from this group, but from other groups.

PLEASE.. Keep in mind these designs are Copyrighted!
If someone asks for the design, it is your obligation to refuse that
person. Even if it is "FREE".. This does not give you the right or
anyone other than the owner to share the design.

As far as the Chef, Remember, you had to email me to get your
personal copy.

And If you are thinking or requesting the design from a "Friend"
DON'T. Friends will not put each other in that position.

The availability for receiving the free Chef ended 10 Jul 08.

I hate posting information such as above, but for mine and your
protection I must.
