TIP Using lace designs is easy if you use net, tulle or organza as a foundation. Some lace designs are made be embroidering directly on very heavy layers of water-soluble stabilizer. Typically, cotton 60- wt. thread is used. Note that the creator of the design will have instructions. Techniques differ greatly depending on the design. |
