download problems error
Venus
If you get these errors this is why
Not Authorized: means the group as exceeded the download limit. Can not display: Means too many people are downloading at once. You can email Miems in private and she will forward your email to a helper that will send you the files or wait a day and try it again. The files will always be there so you have plenty of time. designs. Send Miems a email and she will forward it to someone that will email them to you. I was not interested in the free design I didn't think I would ever use them and I hate having a cluttered hard drive...LOL Just write "need files" in the subject and she will forward it to a helper. It really sounds like you need to reformat. Oh man girl I have been there too many times. I would find cool little programs and install them. No more I learned my lesson..LOL The last one was a free catalog design organizer. It screwed up my computer so bad. You get these wanna bee programmers that have no idea what they are going. They use existing windows files to run there programs and when you remove it there go your windows files..LOL If you have XP you can go back and have your computer setting go back to when it was working. It doesn't always work but may be worth a try. If you have missing windows files you have to reinstall windows or reformat. I would just bite the bullet and get a start fresh...SIGH...Boy I do feel for you! V ----- Original Message -----

shorter link
Venus
If I have a link that is too long I use this service just put the long link in there and it will spit out a shorter one to use that will redirect to the long link site. Oh technology is so fun.

From: SunnySewsIt To: Embroidery, Hooked Sent: Thursday, June 12, 2003 2:49 PM Subject: [HookedOnEmbroidery] URL Tip - Long! I posted this recently to another group, so if you are on that group as well, just ignore! ======================== Many of you may already know this, and please deep six if you do, but I thought I would pass along a little hint about URLs - those wonderful web addresses many of us like to just click on. URL stands for Universal Resource Locator and is how we reach all those wonderful embroidery and other sites. WWW is of course for world wide web and http is for hyper text transfer protocol. Now the fun begins. The next part of the address is the main site's location. Example: Often when someone posts a site, because we have to do so in plain text and have a limited margin, part of the whole address often goes to the next line, and we either do not see it or ignore it. So when we cut and paste an address someone gives us, we have an incomplete address and rather than try to figure it out, we just say "That address didn't work". Rule #1 - Make sure you read the whole address; often there will be an htm or an html at the end. Keep the window open that specifies the address and after you have cut and pasted the address in your browser's address line, manually type the next part that may have wrapped. Rule #2 - If an address doesn't work for you, try cutting and pasting it on your address line of your browser and systematically deleting each section of it from the back to the front. Web addresses are separated by a regular slash, not the backwards slash of a Windows operating system. The slashes indicate sections. Often it may be just the last part that is messed up, and if you eventually get to the main site, you will probably be able to find what was mentioned and what you are looking for anyway. Web addresses are comprised of parts--the main part and the sub-parts to the site, thus the slashes. Even if some of the sub-parts can't be found, once you get to the main site, you can "poke" around and find things! And another thing--sometimes we type web addresses manually in our posts, and often we make a typo - look them over carefully and you can often tell something is amiss and just try a couple of variations. Last, but not least, go to Google and put in a key word - you'll find it! Hope this helps someone! Sunny Chandonais - sunnysewsit@... Yahoo! Save the chairs!! Do you have a JoAnn's? I bought the foam there. Karen just posted about a product called insul-bright that she bought at JoAnn's and it sounds better than foam. Another member said she bought something at Menards (a home inprovment store) I forgot what she called it maybe she can repost the name.

Or should I just take apart a few old outdoor chairs and use that? giggle, giggle Laura Venus wrote: >GREAT then you get to view my cup wrap. It is so easy to make and fun. > > > Yahoo!
