Subject: [HookedOnEmbroidery] Looking for Baby Alphabet

I have had some computer issues and can't seem to find where I started
downloading a "baby alphabet" that looks like it is cross stitch.
Luckily I stored the designs I did download on a different hard drive.
The downloaded design files (when unzipped) start with ED06PP plus the
design number. Can anyone help me with the name of the website, so I
can finish downloading the alphabet.

TIA for any help.
Melanie

Re: hospital insurance

I dont have insurance. I dont work a regular full time job since I live
here with dad and take care of him and private insurance is just way
too high to even think about being able to afford. It's insane how high
insurance is these days.

My goodness, we are having a heat wave!

Scutter

Well, it's been so bitterly cold here for the last week, this is almost
a shocker. But we are in the 60's today. I feel like getting my swim
trunks on and going swimming. :o) LOL, not really but it is really nice
to have warmer weather for a change. It may not last long but it's nice
out there today.

anyone else warming up this week?

Re: Sweatshirt Hooping Tips Please

MaryJo Bevard

Yes...DON'T!!!! Hoop your stabilizer and either pin or baste the shirt to the stabilizer. You can also use an adhesive spray made for embroidery projects. Hooping a thick fabric is a disaster waiting to happen. Not only do you take a chance of messing up your design, but you can break your hoop. Pfaff has an All Fabric hoop that can handle thick items. But with most spring and screw hoops it's a risk I won't take.
Good luck, MaryJo

Sue,This is how I do mine. I hoop cutaway, then spray kk2000 not too much where the stitching is I then put the sweatshirt on top and solvy and pins just to hold around the edge and the baste stitch, remove pins and do design.

I don't hoop them. I hoop the cut away stabilizer, use spray adhesive and lay the sweatshirt on the stabilizer, then baste in the hoop. I have always had good results.

Blocks 567&8 are up for the Work Along With Me Quilt and can be
found on the Quilt Project page. How is everyone doing on their
quilt? Post some pictures, would love to see how everyone is
doing. I will make a Photo Album named Quilt Project and you can
post your pictures there.

There is a new set of In The Hoop Checkbook Covers. These work up
very quickly and are so cute, and can be seen on the New Designs
page.

New Rabbit letters UVW are now hidden on the web site with a very
good clue on the Free Design Page.

All designs can be seen here

Have a great day. Georgia
