Sounds to me like you have a security lock working, or spyware. Do you have spybot on your computer? Do you have cleanup on your computer? Both of these are freeware and I would suggest you download them and run them first then see what happens.

Hi Marge:

What do you use to send your designs to your machine from the
internet? And, what came with your 200E. We don't sell them anymore
as the 730E replaced it. I thought ArtLink could open PES files, but
it can't. Editor Lite came with my 640E and it will open anything.

how I wish it could but the Bernina company won't allow it. We have
to use their software for this. Unfortunately, I can't afford to go
that route.

Re: Things that BUG me...

The thing that bugs me is to have an AD posted and it sounds cute. You
open the post and there is no link to take you there...or a part of an
addy that will not open...and when you get there there is nothing that
tells you where the designs are hiding...at this point I close and
leave...grrrrrrrrr

Another thing that bugs me is to go to someones group and there is no
link anywhere indicating who the group belongs to...grrrrrrrr

another thing that bugs me is to place an ad on a group and you get an
email that it has been rejected for some reason, signed by a first
name only...no link...no name..and you are wondering who sent
it?...what group?...??????? grrrrrrrrrrr

ok...I'm done...got it off my chest....whewwwwwww

Well
maybe not that great of ratio but you know what I mean.

Hello Everybody:

One of my Canadian neighbours checked out Not Just Threads at
Potter's Paradise and had some important questions for me that the
group should know.

My store is Canadian, but the prices are in US dollars. The company
hosting me is in the States and gave me no option with this. Like I
told this member, any Canadian customers can feel free to contact me
by emailing sales@not-just-threads or contact me at 519-587-4833 and
I can let them know the Canadian pricing so they can send payment in
CAD dollars.

The other question was in regards to shipping. I will be using FedEx
and Canada Post and will choose the service which is the most
economical for my customer.

I've been working like crazy on trying to get all my products
uploaded. Tomorrow I should have my colour charts straightened
around. Everyday there are new products added.

Thanks for the feedback. To be honest with you I thought that I did
put my shipping cost on the site. I must have suffered from
SOME-TIMERS that day. I'll double check that tomorrow.

Any questions or concerns, don't hesitate to ask. It helps me to
know what has to be done.

Thanks,

Michele

Makes you think of those sets of kitchenware, 40 piece set (or whatever) in great big letters, then you read the fine print and a dozen or so pieces are measuring cups and spoons, and half of the rest are lids for the main pieces, LOL.

Well, as luck would have it, I did finally locate it in my design
folders but I still don't remember where I got it. I will look at the
Bernina site and try to put that info in the folder with it. Thanks
for the suggestion.

Re: name tags

Not sure I understand but I am picturing a frame so you have as finished
satin stitch edge and the lettering is inside on top of fabric like an
applique. Your editing software should let you add the letter to the frame
then stitch it all out as one design.
The other idea is to embroider the frame/applique on cutaway stabilizer,
then use the alphabet on your sewing machine to stitch the names. That
might be as easy as using the emb machine.

Subject: [HookedOnEmbroidery] name tags

Once again I'm asking fellow embroideriers for their help..I have been
contacted by a local group to make "name/gift tags" for the fleece
blankets they are making for terminally ill patients...they would like
to sew these tags to the corner of the blankets...and asked if I could
embroidery the tags...where would I begin? there would be only two
lines and about the size of 2 x 2..would I just embroidery these lines
on a linen/muslin cloth then cut them out to size for them to sew on or
would I embroidery the backgound with the lettering on top such as a
badge? Any suggestions will be a great help...marcia in pa
