The delete key is on the keyboard. You can still highlight the
portions you want to delete by dragging the mouse down to the end of the message and then hitting the delete key or right click and click delete on the pop-up menu that appears. |
Re: {Spam?} Re: Things that bug me...
Jodi
Having a stitch count is wonderful. Also having a color listing is also helpful. Not really for the colors themselves, as we all change colors according to what we like, or what is necessary for a customer or family member, but for having an idea where that color is going to be. This makes changing colors much easier in my opinion. For example, highlighting on leaves, flower centers and so on. Just a thought......Jo

Re: formatting compact flash cards-Nancy
cheryl hutchinson
Hi Nancy, a flash card is called many things, thumb drive, jump drive etc. it is like another hard drive that plugs into your USB port. I keep all my designs on them because they can hold hundreds of designs. They run in price anywhere from 20.00 on up. Go to a computer store, walmart etc they all sell them. i hope this helps.

Re: What is FUN
goldie37us
I am looking forward to a very fun day tomorrow w/my DD. She has
another day off of school and we are spending the day together. We plan on wearing jammies all day. I am hoping to finish a raggedy edge pillow and we are going to watch movies, eat popcorn and just be together. I am also hoping to do just a little bit of embroidery, and organizing in the sewing room. My DD is into polymer clay, she makes the most amazing things! The only thing that would make the day any better is if my oldest DD were going to be here for the day. I hope everyone has a wonderful day also! Jo |

These sets also include just the designs with or without days on them, so you can put them on many different things. Next is Sir Egg-cellent just the designs in 4x4, 5x5 or 6x10, if you just want the designs, for decorating, and this set also has the plain design or with the days on them for a total of 14 designs. The Next Set is the cutest set of Bug Pocket Toppers yet. They also have their little bottoms included. These come in 4x4 or 5x7. These designs can be seen on Page 2 of the New Designs. The Free Rabbit Alphabet has been updated with DEFG now hiding away on the site with a hint on the Free Design Page. for those who missed ABCD, they will be put up for sale in the next day or two. Also hiding on the site is Happy Easter in 2 different files for the 6x10 hoop only. There are no hints, as they are fairly easy to find, as you only have to look for the words (oops, maybe that was a hint), and they will be up until Easter. Be sure to check out the Valentine Sets on the New Designs Page and also on the Valentine Page of the Holiday Section. Lots of goodies, come take a look. Don't forget Super bowl is coming up and there is a great Football Bowl Set on the FSL Bowls and Doilies section. All can be seen here Have a great day. Should also have said Use a basting stitch before you embroidery the design. That will hold all the layers in one spot while you do the RW design

homes - most are pretty darn good, some aren't, but I didn't know for sure if there was another group of kids with some sort of "group" name from the past. That's why I asked. Yes, foster children can be abused as readily as natural children. It's pretty sad. Please, everyone, report anytime you think there is something going on that shouldn't be. By the time outside of the family people notice something amiss, there usually really is something amiss. KathyS -----Original Message-----

Foster children are children that are looked after by a person who is not a family member and the government pay the person who is looking after them. There are some pretty bad horror stories from These places. Not all are bad but the ones that are over shadow the good. I went to court with 5 of these who had been sexually abused by the foster father and there had been 45 kids through this home and only 5 would testify Sewing hugs Doreen........... jandor@... We've got all of our ARC thread (1000 & 5000 meter spools) on pegboard. There's hooks you can buy made for pegboard. Around here Walmart was the cheapest place. The small ones I think took 2" hooks. The Large Cones we used 4" or 6" (what ever they had on hand). We finally went to a hardware store and ordered some (MELCO had a couple real good sales..LOL). ARC Thread & Pegboard
ly62my59
I rec'd my 288 spools of thread from MelcoMart today and it's like
Christmas all over again. I cannot tell you how pleased I am with this thread, the beautiful colors and the way it stitches out. I am doing a couch pillow for my SIL with a Rosemaling design (she's Norwegian) I purchased from Embroidery Library, and it's going to be really lovely. I'm so glad to find out about the designs, threads, and other sales from HOE. Now, does anyone know if there are gadgets you can buy that fit into pegboard to hang the thread on? or....does my DH need to cut doweling. I'd sure appreciate it if anyone knows if there is such a thing. Thanks for everything Myrna (in very cold Grapeview, Washington) |

Don't you just hate reading a reply that doesn't show the original message, and you can't for the life of you remember what the question was (especially if it sounds interesting, LOL)?
