Shotgun Tom Kelly's HO Layout
This is a link to an nine minute video of Shotgun Tom Kelly's HO Layout, courtesy of Tom Cataldo: The music and special scenic effects in the video, produced by Jhani Kaye, are a cut above the typical home layout video. At the seven minute mark the video shows the time lapse construction of the layout. Those of you in the Los Angeles and San Diego areas may recognize Tom Kelly as a local radio personality. His father was an Engineer for Santa Fe and actually ran three locomotives represented by models in this video. The suspended layout descends from the ceiling and rests on a pool table when in use. It was built by Lloyd & Betsy Kluesner of Lloyd's Layouts in Paramount, CA. Shotgun has been honored for his work in broadcasting with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, plus 2 Emmy Awards for his work as a television host. He makes his home in San Diego, is heard weekdays on SiriusXM radio's "60's on 6," and is currently President of Pacific Pioneer Broadcasters.
