Layouts Needed: 2023 SPH&TS Convention – Bakersfield, CA This is the first call for owners to display their model railroads during the Southern Pacific Historical & Technical Society Convention. The Convention Committee is seeking model railroads within an hour's driving distance of Bakersfield. Model railroads of any scale are welcome. They need not be “complete” but should be operational. All you will need to do is operate your trains. I will do all the planning, organizing and publicity. This will be a free, self-guided tour, limited to Convention attendees. No buses will be used. If you have any questions before committing to the tour, please ask. In any event, please contact me [OFF LIST] in the next several days if you are interested so we can add your railroad to the tour.
