Being a long-time Yahoo mail subscriber and social media dinosaur, would a group change to Groups.io mean having to get a Google mail account to send and receive the group's emails? ?I don't do

Some of the groups from Yahoo are being transferred to groups.io complete with photos files and history but for many this may be too late. Charles.

As far as I know, the list owner has never suggested that the list was going to move, and it was only the idea of some members...
