Well 7 of the 9 YahooModel Railroad ?groups that I am a member of have all transferred completely over to the Groups.io forums. Much more user-friendly and stable. The only groups that haven’t transferred are this one and the QSI group. Hopefully the guys will transfer this one before the Yahoo Groups completely implode and we lose all the files and photos in this group.

Ron, yahoo groups are not user friendly, it looks like everybody is moving to facebook groups.

Being a long-time Yahoo mail subscriber and social media dinosaur, would a group change to Groups.io mean having to get a Google mail account to send and receive the group's emails? ?I don't do Facebook. ?Would the 'small-layout-design' ID be able to stay the same for wayfinding purposes among all the Groups.io group titles, or would some new group name have to be coined? ?Just asking, if anyone more savvy about these things has give this matter some thought, thanks.

They needed to upgrade the group sometime back. It hard to post pictures or videos. The threads are a hard to follow. The sad part if YAHOO had kept its groups up it might have saved them. QUORA is where the should have gone.
The thing about the groups was there wasn't a lot of censorship except by the people in the group so you could have really good discussions or learn a lot from them.
