Mad River North Woods for ACA Class?

woody glenn All Messages By This Member #4 I have a dilapidated Mad River Northwoods hull that the gunnels have rotted off of.? Long term plan is to build it up as a dedicated? ACA racing canoe.? I figured I'd start a thread here? to collect ideas,? though in full disclosure this project is realistically years out.? ?I've heard that this hull was competitive "back in the day"? ?Can anyone confirm? woody glenn All Messages By This Member #5 Back again...and trying to source aluminum tubing for a class legal ACA sail.? Larry Zuk recommends 6061-T6 with a 0.058 wall thickness.? Any one know a source or equivalent? Thanks, Woody? ?
