Dear SSLers,

There will be a Memorial for Mike Lampton on Saturday afternoon, August 26 at the Faculty Club at UC Berkeley, followed by a reception.

Mike had a rich, interesting and meaningful life “as an astronaut, commercial horse stable owner (but didn't ride), complicit in the Great Rose Bowl Hoax, stellar software founder, coder par excellence, guitarist, space scientist, and DESI collaborator.” If anyone would like to share some cherished memories and stories, please let Susan know (slea@...).
