The final notice I received on the matter is that the amount you paid had been returned to you. I just checked the account and there’s nothing there from you. I’m sorry for the hassle. I assume if you pay through the link at sacredspace.be, it will go through. Will await your word. Thinking you might enjoy the film “Just Mercy”… It might be helpful for you to forward an inquiry about the Nanaimo contact to Marilyn Turkovich, past ED of the Charter for Compassion and ask her who the current contact is, in case it is someone new, assuming that by “compassionate community” you mean a compassionate city registered as such with the Charter for Compassion. Hope this helps; I know you weren’t asking for help, though. :) In case it matters, I’m going to teach a CIT course by myself with only a couple of professionals in the room I’ve asked to be ready to help people process heavy emotion or trauma if it arises. In other words, if your call is there, it’s feasible to teach it alone as another facilitator just did here in Tucson. I hope you give yourself any down time needed for surgery recoup! Hi all and Josephine, Re. how to find people for your Sacred Space, you might list yourself in Meet Up as a progressive group (with details from the program manual to describe the group) and hold initial meeting/s in a coffee house. You could also post your listing in all free listings in your community and in interfaith circles after doing a search for such in your area. I wish I lived where you live. I think it’s beautiful there. And the weather is much more to my liking. And I could join YOUR sacred space. I offered my home as a Sacred Space as well. So far nothing has evolved. I live in St Louis MO which is thick and deep with Roman Catholic people. I used to be one of those myself. However, the black and white and rules encumbered world there was not serving my growth any longer. It was hindering it. I am very out of the box when it comes to spirituality. And being out of the box in an extremely conservative Parochial area is not an easy go. It’s difficult to find others out of the box here. I am sure they are here, I just am not sure how to find them or them find me. I am also taking a class from Compassion Integrity Training (Life University). Teresa has done this training as well. It’s wonderful. I feel like I am doing some healthy reflective work to assess my strengths and weaknesses when it comes to compassion for myself, others and organizations/systems. Hello All, I attended a Hosting event this weekend last. I was able to connect with about 40 people, one of them a united minister in town, who apparently tried to get our town as a member of the Charter. This Wed. I will meet with her and two indigenous woman to see about Peace circle reconcilliation. This came about from my hosting question of creating Sacred Space here in Port Alberni.
