Texas theater
.....what would you give to travel back to late 50s and early 60s and take your friend or date to the latest attraction at the Texas theater? AAAAHHHH the memories would come back to a time never to come again nor did we even think that it would be just a memory. The twinkling ceiling lights that represented the feeling of being outdoors and the sound system that could lift you up in your seat at the moment of unexpected action.? ? ? That was a time when for one dollar could get you in to see the latest movie and still have change for a sack of pop corn and soda. You had many seats to choose from and for a higher view, you could go up to the balcony.? ? ?Parking was available on the street out front and you didn't have to feed the parking meters after 6 PM. If you got there early you could window shop the jewelry store next door or observe the large posters on either side of the front for the upcoming movies.? ? ?Yes those were memories that will remain as long as you remember your youthful days in our home town..it was a memorable place and time to have grown up in. |
Yes, those were the days. Got to see a lot of good movies in that theater. John T. Herman 210-396-1974 Live simply. Love generously. Care deeply. Speak kindly. Leave the rest to God. 开云体育The jewelry shop next door was owned by my dear old dad and his papa before him. Shoulda come in and spent all your hard-earned cash. don b. On 2/10/2025 8:31 AM, John Fore via

I rarely had money for fancy stuff, but I did buy a cultured pearl ring for my high school girl friend at Zale for $12 and paid it out in 4 payments..I wonder if she still has it..probably not. On Mon, Feb 10, 2025, 6:51 PM Don Bolding via <dbolding=[email protected]> wrote:
