Survived another Labor Day

Here we go, ready to enjoy yet another week end and no one has said how or if they survived the last one, not to mention the week we have just seen.
Personally, I didn't do anything special for Labor Day, just stayed home and enjoyed that. Got a few little things done that needed doing and then sat down to read for awhile.
With the weather changes, we did get some much needed rain, so I celebrate that. The gauges show we got almost 1 3/4" of good rain, the soaking kind. Certainly not as much as some of you may have gotten but we are grateful just the same.
So now, take a few minutes and tell us what you did or didn't do for Labor Day and this past week.

It was not on Labor Day, but I did have a fun time going to the Sheep Dog Trials in Meeker, Colorado yesterday. I love watching the dogs work and talking to the owners.?
Afterwards, Daughter Katy and I went to Rifle to watch the 8th grade football game. Basalt won. It was a fun day.?

The Hardy’s have greatly enjoyed the cooler temps and splashes of rain on their yard. Looking forward to seeing many of you in October!?

Quiet Labor Day here.? Son and daughter-in-law stopped by to visit; they returned my 2 hanging plants they had been plant sitting while we were away 4 days last week. We had a nice stay from Wed to Sat last week at Starved Rock Lodge and State Park in Illinois on a bus trip; met some nice people!

We are enjoying a few days of cooler weather and some rain, also; temp when I got up was 57 degrees; 61 now at 11 AM. In a few days we'll be back up into the 80's. I'm sure that sounds like a cool spell to a lot of you!

Take care, All!

Interesting enough, we’ve had several days and nights with hints of Fall! Anything under 90 seems like relief in Austin!?
