Happy Winter, Everyone!

Well, we are down to the last ten days of the year and the start of Winter, all at one time.
At least with the start of Winter, we can start looking forward to Spring and warm weather.
Had an interesting project this afternoon. I flipped on the back porch wall light and nothing happened. I thought it was just the bulb so I got another bulb, tested it in a lamp and it worked fine. Changed the light bulbs and flipped on the switch, nothing happened.
Next, I took the plate off the switch and checked that the switch was working and it was working fine.
That left the back porch wall light as the culprit.
A trip to Lowe's and back home with a new light fixture and a bulb with a sensor for dusk to dawn operation.
Finally got the right breaker turned off and tested to make sure before I started messing with the wire nuts.
The old light came off fairly easy and the new one went on with the usual issues with mounting brackets. Got it all together and put the new bulb in and turned the breaker back on.
A flip of the light switch and the light came on and in about a minute, it went out.
That is the way it is supposed to work when the sun is shining so I called it a success.
Wonder what I can to for fun next week??????
