Radius speaker and housing wanted
I have several Radius (1225) type speakers that have distorted sound due to the environment they were in (humid) dusty, or over driven, etc., so have resorted to using the external speaker output on them, which has the added benefits the Motorola external speakers sound much better then even a working elliptical in the Radius, and the speaker can be better placed. MBTSN6031A or othersHowever you do need the special connector for the back of the transceiver. Here is one Hope this helps. Jeff NZ2S |
Thanks, guys for the input. I checked and determined I need the Radius M120 front panel. It can be empty, but the speaker would be nice. I don't need any of the electronics (as shown in the one image).? Please see my web site for my current address to reply to. (thanks).

I have a bunch of these as well as M100s, SM50s, and some GM300s (that are all working except one with a broken?DC connector).? Almost all are UHF.? Only catch is you have to take the whole radio.? Make me a decent offer and I will be happy to ship one or more out to you.? I can get you a count on how many I have of which type on Thursday.? While I would like to recover the space they are taking up I am not giving them away (yet).? It is getting to the point where I have a larger radio fleet than some smaller cities so I should probably start thinning the herd a bit.? If anyone needs any 800 MHz LPE-200s I have a pile of those also. Thanks, Dan Woodie, CETsr KC8ZUM On Sun, Dec 20, 2020 at 11:17 PM SRG <srg734@...> wrote: Thanks, guys for the input. Been like that for the 15 plus years I've know him... It's a common Northwest Left Coast thing... cheers, Kabigon ? |
Not so, skipp. If you read the signature and visit the web site my current address is always listed there, under "contacts".? Of course you would have to make the effort to do this which could cost you about 3 more clicks on your mouse if you can afford that :)
