It isn't particularly helpful.

However, it is in a similar vein as something I posted earlier - people posting on the forum and not including at least a partial quote of what they are responding to.

Solution:
People expecting a direct reply need to post that information in the body of their post.
People posting on the forum need to post at least a partial quote.

Reality:
People not doing the above can still wonder why they don't get many/any replies.
