I own a Yaesu vxr-5000, its been on the air for 3 years with an rc-96
controller and works perfectly. The site (my home) sucks but the repeater
never missed a beat. I highly recommend them. The warranty is three years,
easy to interface to controllers and is fully programmable and comes with
encode/decode of pl tones. Someone asked me for a diagram of the hookup,
whoever it was please let me know. I have been having trouble with a new
arrival in our home (child #2) she is very sick so I havent had time to map
it out. I will do so soon so please drop me a line.. Tnx Richy

I own a vxr5000 uhf if you buy one make sure the tune it to the area of
operation you want it for mine was to be used in the 460 area and the
factory tuned it to the 450 area also they osilate to sertain hand helds
while you are next to them like u-16 and midland u-16 hts.
