Anybody happen to have any spare channel elements for Mocom 70's? If so,
please contact me privately with your asking price. Thanks.

I'll check, Do you need for both transmit and receive? How many of each?
Any
particular frequency you are looking for?
I would need transmit and receive (a minimum of one set right now, though I
have a stack of the beasts and might eventually want to do something with the
lot). I'm making an attempt at building a 2-meter repeater out of two of
them.

I've heard from several people that, as long as there are not temperature
extremes, you don't need a channel element as the crystal will plug directly
into the radio without the element. Maybe I could build a "heater" using a
thermister -- I'll have to check my manual -- which I received in today's mail
-- and see.

Thanks.

I'll check and see if I can come up with some. If I don't reply about this in a
couple of days and you don't receive any other offers, Please remail (jog my
memory) My forgetter has been working overtime lately.
