Manual CDM Low-Band

开云体育

Hi to All,

?

I just bought a nice Motorola CDM-1250 Low-Band modified for 6 Meter Ham Band.

?

But I am looking for the Service manual and I can only find the manual for VHF and UHF.

?

The radio does work and turn on by the ignition accessories plug pin but I have some problem with the control head.

?

No ON-Off button function, no Lights for the display, no RX-TX light, no Lightening of the DTMF Mike.

?

And I have some question on the output power specs of this radio, it is set to 65 Watts in CPS put putting out 90 W on my Bird Bench Wattmeter?

?

My Model is : AAM25DKD9AA2AN

?

I am hoping that a member as seen this control heads problem before and somebody as the proper manual for this radio.

?

Or at least the model number info to know what is the normal output power of this radio?

?

Thanks’ to all for looking in their electronic document file.

Hello,
My previous email was in error! The VHF CDM-1250 is rated for 45W.
The low band 1250 probably higher wattage. Did you look on the web for the model # of radio. Usually specs are listed

Manual 6881091C63-B, Chapter 7, available on the web site.

And I have some question on the output power specs of this radio
All lowband CDM's are rated for 60 watts.

The repeater-builder web site has BOTH the B and C versions of the 6881091C63 Detailed Service Manual
for free download.?? Look here: ?
?
The version C manual is 30.1 MB.? The "B" version is 16.9 MB.??
As big as hard drives are today why not grab both?

Many pages at the web site have multiple revisions of the same manual.?? We started doing that on
the GE LBI pages as GE had a bad habit of trimming good information from the older manuals to
reduce page count (and printing costs).

I forgot to say that the 6881091C63 Detailed Service Manual covers low band, high band and UHF...
everything but the narrowband-only "200" and "700" MHz CDMs.?? They have their own manual.

Thank you Mike, Jeff and Tim for all the info.

?

Now I know that the normal output power is 60 Watts not 90 W like now.

?

I will look at this manual to find the problem with my 1250 control head.

?

At this point I don’t know if the problem is created by the radio not suppling the correct voltage to the control heads.

?

Or if the problem is in the control head.

?

To be followed.
