I agree.? They are false economy.? The only protection that they give the receiver from transmitter power is a very sharp notch.? Burn up the teflon, loose the notch tuning, and you have the chance

Mobile compact duplexers are for low power use at best. ?They burn up if used for continuous repeater transmission and high power. ?I’ve seen 50 watts burn up the teflon end dielectric tuning
