开云体育Thanks Ralph,? This has been my concern lately, we have had several power "flashes" while storm repairs have been in progress. The one I bought is on Amazon made by Omron (another good brand I have used professionally), thanks again for the info. I was at one of our sites the other day and had the power flash and heard the relays all chatter, knowing full well that cant be good for everything down stream.? It was a standard plug in time delay relay made by Allen Bradly.? Has a knob on the top of it that let you set the time to pull in after the line voltage came back.? That is the relay has its own built in timer. They can be bought to delay the dropout or the pull in time. For the dropout you do have to have an external source of voltage? so that is why I went with the pull in time.? Prevents short cycling if he power just flickers a few times. Ralph ku4pt

Check that the center pins of all your connectors on the cables are at the correct height. Also give a wiggle to the connectors at the cavity to see if your readings change significantly.? I've had a set of Wacom cavities where the connectors had cold solder joints on the center pins and With the PD-526 I've had a set where someone had pushed the center pin of the connector down to where it was barely making contact, and I've had another where the notch capacitor and coupling loop was damaged with the solder ripped off the ground end. I used the simple way of having a relay that operated on the incoming line voltage and put either the power supply or battery to the equipment.? the relay was pulled in when we had line voltage and dropped out when the line voltage was lost.? Used a time delay relay set for about 10 seconds so the line voltage had to come back for 10 seconds before the battery dropped out.? That way we could use any battery and charger arrangement. MFJ1112 DC power strip
Good evening all, about a week ago or maybe a little more I listed on here that I had a DC power bus for sale, it was the MFJ 1112 with six pairs of binding posts. That one has been sold, but another one has now come available from my repeater cabinet. There was another fellow interested W think his name was

The jumper that may need to be added is also on the exciter board.? There are no jumpers that need to be added or removed on the PL encoder board. ? One other thing that has made its way through a lot of dead brain cells – there were two versions of the Micor PL encoder board, with the biggest difference being the alignment/spacing of the pin sockets.? Here’s a pic of the two boards, confirm you’re using the right one for the exciter you have. ? Also included is a pic of the Micor “flat audio” board that took the place of the PL encoder.? The flat audio board was used in Micor PURC paging stations and DVP stations if I remember right.? 开云体育Jim, This is bad info, even BioEno says to not use more the 20amps when charging their 100Ah batteries. The trick to LifePo4 BMS's is to have the voltage above 14.6V to start the charging (kick it in), if you have completely drained the battery to BMS shutdown. Each battery Amp Hour rating has it's own max amperage for charging, hitting the battery with 50 amps, is liable to damage the cells, and ruin the battery. 开云体育Pads are not needed with a VNA.? They might be needed if you’re using a sig gen or tracking generator as a source that doesn’t hold its output level constant when presented with a mismatch, but you wouldn’t be turning for return loss then, would you? ? A great reference source: ?https://batteryuniversity.com/ Lead-acid and AGM generally share a desired/hopeful charge profile and stages - and should be provided a periodic desulfation maintenance higher voltage charge period. This function is not indicated in the docs.? (just floating and/or trickle charging lead-acid is one of the things that shortens their life, that's why the Astron, Samlex and similar battery options are, politely - "less than ideal" battery killers) LiFePo 'suggests' an appropriate charger be able to supply increased voltage and current for when a battery's built-in balance mode cycle should kick in.? For 100aH products the current need can be 50 amps +/-.? ? As well, if the internal BMS shuts the battery down (built in LVD), it's going to need a charger/profile smart enough to kick in and wake the battery up when mains power is restored.? ? This is not addressed in the RigRunner manual, and the indicated 10A charge rate is probably not sufficient to effect this needed restoration or balancing maintenance processes - at least for a battery bigger than say 20 AH.?? Again - second the Victron LVD between appropriate charger + battery and the load.? The LVD cutoff is settable appropriate to the minimum voltage whichever battery type should be cut off from the load.? As well their LiFePo-specific chargers.? Victron appears to be THE go-to product for many marine and RV DC system lead-acid/AGM to LiFePo upgrades.? ?? As to battery sources - BattleBorn has been considered THE vendor of choice, but BioEno, LiTime and WattCycle have been proving worthy.? ?I recommend NOT Renogy - their products are a little confusing in charge and balance behavior and their technical support *inhales deeply". ? |

So, if the encoder was in place, and that jumper is in, you might not get PL tone on tx.
